Rich and Carolyn Buquet met in college at John Brown
University. Carolyn was a Broadcasting major and Rich, a Music-Vocal
major. After graduating they worked together at Thorncrown Chapel in
Eureka Springs, AR., where they fell in love and were married in 1986.
While at the chapel they had the opportunity to sing for and minister to
literally hundreds of thousands of tourists from all walks of life. They
also worked as actors in “The Great Passion Play” playing various
roles including Pilate, John the apostle, Mary Magdalene, Pilate’s Wife,
the Angel at the tomb, and the roles of Mary and Joseph in the annual
Christmas Play musical. Carolyn’s recorded version of “The Lords
Prayer” is still used to open the Passion Play each night in the
4400-seat open-air amphitheater. While home-based in Arkansas, the Buquets traveled for 2 years as the musical team “Together Forever”, singing in churches of all denominations and sizes. During this time they began building a studio to record their original songs. The Music Room has grown from a humble 4-track cassette machine to a comprehensive multi-track digital audio/video facility capable of producing 1st class media. In 1992 Rich and Carolyn moved their family to Corpus Christi, Texas and joined the ministry of Faith Temple where they served for 4 years. In 1996 they moved to South Dallas, joining the ministry staff at Trinity Church. After 5 years of fruitful ministry in Cedar Hill, the Buquets moved to McKinney, Texas. In January, 2002, they came home to Harbor Point Community Church in Plano, Texas where Rich serves as Worship Arts Pastor.
